What's hot in nature? Watch "Forest" to find out!

I like nature. Trees, grass, fresh air, ponds and such. Except for insects. Fuck all those guys. So, I chose to watch this newer show called "Forest" on VIKI for obvious reasons. It did not disappoint! The cinematography of this show was stunning! The views of the mountains were fucking outstanding!

Nature aside, the show storyline had some nice depth to it. Not too much, but enough to keep you interested and watching.

The male lead, Park Hae Jin (박해진), plays a quasi douchebag executive that is suffering from some hidden trauma from childhood. The trauma shows up in the form of him feeling and believing that one of his hands is on fire. Just random moments of hand on fire. No shit. So, homeboy is in the middle of an important business meeting, and all of a sudden, poof, hand is on fire.

This dude also has a strong mindset to succeed, even by unsavory and really unethical means. In order to secure a shady business deal, he literally goes from being in the frying pan and into the fire. He decides to become an undercover forest rescue officer (like a firefighter and general emergency rescuer). I won't explain why...you will have to watch the show for that shit!

There's also a sort of annoying young doctor played by Jo Bo Ah (조보아). You know the drill. Push and pull. Fire. Emergencies. Nature. And then nature happens between the characters (heh heh heh).

Overall, the shit wasn't the most dramatic of dramas. However, it was fresh enough of a storyline with dealing with how trauma can manifest and fuck your shit all the way up. Best not try to avoid it. Deal with it before it deals with you!

Go watch "Forest" on VIKI. Enjoy some lighter viewing for a change. Mostly, enjoy those views!
